Across the land,
I have traveled the tracks of time.
Holding still within my heart,
Those I had to leave behind.

Ghost that lead my trail,
Cherokee tears along the way.
Guiding this winding path,
One on which I could not stray.

Sadness was my friend,
We wondered hand in hand.
Until I heard my soul speak,
Of this past I should disband.

Crying out to the Creator,
Come, fold me within your arms.
Gather all of my longings,
Those that would cause harm.

Standing beside me,
Not one person I do not know.
For we journey into oneness,
With no real place to go.

I can feel you,
Tell me you can feel me.
The power of love is strong,
It will lead me directly to thee.

Releasing bonds that held me,
Letting the spirits take flight.
Give me strength, make me strong,
Quiet in mornings light.

Leaving behind the shackles of life,
Following the tracks of others,
The pride forever growing within,
I walk among my Warrior brothers.
